A number of SHW colleagues have been nominated as part of a UofG campaign to acknowledge and thank those who contribute generously and creatively to the research environment

The UofG annual "People make research" project celebrates colleagues from across the university who contribute to creating a positive environment for research – and researchers – to thrive.

Researchers and research staff are asked to name the people who make a positive difference to them, under the themes of collaboration, creativity and careers.

A number of SHW colleagues were nominated in the 2023 round, as follows:

Collaboration

SHW colleagues recognised for making a difference by being truly collaborative were:

Creativity

SHW colleagues recognised for making a positive difference by being inspiringly creative were:

Careers

Colleagues recognised for making a positive difference to career journeys were:

  • Kate O'Donnell (General Practice and Primary Care)
  • Heather Wardle (Social Scientists in Health)
