Virtual event with students from Glasgow College, UESTC - 26th January, 2022
We recently held an entertaining virtual engagement event with students from Glasgow College, UESTC where both Scottish and Chinese culture were celebrated. Students were fully engaged, truly appreciating the chance to connect to one another. They shared stories of study and life in Glasgow, and at UESTC. This brought back some old and recent memories - and it was clear that everyone is ready to create more valuable memories during their time in Scotland.
The interactive cultural quiz worked extremely well with lots of competition for the top spot. Students appreciated learning more about Scottish culture and we discovered that no one has yet experienced a Burns Night supper! We hope to get an in person event arranged in the future to allow everyone to try the national dish of haggis, neeps and tatties.
