Exciting News from Our Joint Education Programme Industrial Advisory Board
We are thrilled to share news of the successful completion of our first educational Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) meeting for the academic year 2023/24. Held twice a year at our Chengdu campus, this autumn's meeting was nothing short of a great success.
Our esteemed IAB members, including HiSilicon and ST Microelectronics (China), shared their remarkable activities and offerings for our students.

A proud moment
The IAB members couldn't stop praising our students' outstanding performance. Most of them continue their educational journey at top QS World Ranking Universities.
We also took the time to review Glasgow College, UESTC's successes over the past six months, celebrating the milestones that our partnership has reached.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the discussion about resuming our 'School-Enterprise Training Camps'. These camps play a crucial role in enhancing our students' innovative and practical abilities, preparing them for the dynamic world of industry.

What's next?
We brainstormed ideas to boost student engagement with our IAB members, such as guest lecturers giving talks to our students focusing on market needs and career advice, supporting and sponsoring final year projects, and student competitions. The future looks bright, and our students will benefit immensely!
This meeting was an immense success, and it's just the beginning of an exciting journey. We are eager to strengthen our programs, equipping our students with the knowledge, experience, and industry exposure they need to excel in their future careers.
