The University of Glasgow Educational Assessment Network (UGEAN) is a research newtork of the School of Education and founding member of the International Educational Assessment Network (IEAN). These networks are concerned with one of the most powerful drivers in education systems internationally – assessment.  Their work is designed to inform and develop the use of assessment as a means of promoting social justice: to make a real difference to policy and to practice.
