Criminal Conviction check
If you are made an offer for the BDS programme you will be required to undertake a Criminal Convictions check. We require full declaration of convictions, including anything deemed ‘spent’. It is your responsibility to cover the cost of the Criminal Convictions check. Further details regarding this process will be communicated to all offer holders.
Please be aware that if you have resided outside the UK for six months or more during the last six years, you will be required to gain Police Clearance from that country.
If an unsatisfactory criminal records check is received or the records check is not received by the Dental School’s deadline date your offer of a place on the programme may be withdrawn.
