Strategy and Impact
In partnership with key stakeholders in industry, the NHS, policy-makers and the public, and in collaboration with international groups/networks (e.g. IARC, The Lancet Commission, WHO Collaborating Centres) we aim to generate effective solutions with societal impact to the big oral/dental public health and clinical challenges.
We apply and continue to develop our expertise in population health, clinical, and laboratory science:
- Community Oral Health population oral health and inequalities; quality of dental service delivery.
- Glasgow Dental Clinical Research Facility (GDCRF) builds on the successes of establishing our GDCRF to harness translation of our findings and continues to develop Glasgow as a strong clinical trial site
- Oral Sciences immunopathogenesis and management of oral diseases; complex infections; the relationship of oral and systemic disease
