Background

Before becoming Lecturer in Irish and Scottish Literature post-1900 in 2013, I taught as University Teacher in Modern Literature at the University of Glasgow and as Visiting Lecturer in the Forum for Critical Inquiry at Glasgow School of Art.  I hold undergraduate degrees in English Literature from the University of Glasgow and Law from the University of Edinburgh, and an MLitt in Modernities and PhD (Dante …… Joyce. Derrida) from the University of Glasgow, both of which were funded by the AHRC.
