I mainly study how you hear and make sounds (speech perception, phonetics, speech production), mostly in adverse listening conditions (in noise, when distracted, or trying to understand someone speaking in a different accent or in a second language). I use a combination of experimental techniques from psychoacoustics and cognitive neuroscience.

I welcome PhD applicants in projects related to speech perception, phonetics (including sociophonetics), speech production, hearing science, cognitive psychology and experimental phonology.

Most of my publications can be found on my Google Scholar link.
