The 19th Century reading group is an informal group open to all post-graduate students and staff of any subject. The group meets fortnightly to discuss short or extracted texts of a particular topic or author. Previous topics include 'American(ish) Gothic' and 'Arctic Narratives', and suggestions for future themes, or specific readings on (or outwith) the current topic are always welcome.

Meetings are held on alternate Thursdays at 4pm in the café of the Fraser Building/Hub (don't worry, we're well signposted!).

New readers are welcome at any time!
