ISAS 2015

Welcome to ISAS 2015!

The University of Glasgow was delighted to host the 17th Biennial Meeting of the International Society of Anglo-Saxonists, the theme of which was ‘The Daily Life of the Anglo-Saxons’. The conference encompassed all areas of Anglo-Saxon studies: archaeology, art, history, language, law, literature, numismatics, onomastics, palaeography and others.

The committee had organized a programme of events that combines academic interests with receptions in some of Glasgow’s most prestigious venues, and included excursions to the Ruthwell Cross, St Ninian’s Whithorn, and St Columba’s Isle of Iona with an expert guide.
