Feminism, Religions & Activism in the Lecture Theatre and Beyond

Join Theology & Religious Studies for this special event to celebrate International Women’s Day 2020.

Dr Sarah Nicholson (University of Glasgow), Katie Sproull (Interfaith Glasgow) and Safa Yousaf (Amina Muslim Women Resource Centre) discuss intersections of religions and feminist activism in the lecture theatre and beyond. Topics will include religious forms of feminism, advocacy of feminism in the classroom, and how we might develop and deploy tools of activism outside of university, in the workplace and in everyday life.

‘Feminism, Religions & Activism in the Lecture Theatre and Beyond’ takes place on Wednesday 18 March, 3pm-5pm at the Gloag Lecture Theatre, 5 Professors’ Square.

This event is free and open to all.
