Glasgow-Singapore Scholarships
The School of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow invites applications for two Glasgow–Singapore Joint PhD Scholarships. These scholarships support PhD students who wish to spend 18–24 months in Singapore undertaking a collaborative research project.
Scholarship details
- Duration: 3.5 years
- Structure: Begin PhD study in Glasgow Relocate to Singapore for at least 18 months to work with a collaborator from an eligible Singapore university. Return to Glasgow to complete the PhD
- Start date: All students will begin their PhD in Glasgow before relocating to Singapore for 18–24 months
Funding package
- Stipend at the UK rate while in Glasgow
- Stipend at the Singapore rate while in Singapore
- Tuition fees covered at the home level
- Commitment required to apply for the ARAP scholarship in Singapore
Application process
- Apply online following the standard postgraduate research application process
- Enter “Glasgow–Singapore PhD Scholarship in Computing Science” in the funding information box
- Select “Univ of Glasgow Scholarship” as the funding source to be considered
