Congratulations to Zein Oweis who successfully defended her thesis 'The Representation of Persons with Disabilities in Jordanian Media' in late November 2025. Her viva was convened by Professor Gillian Doyle with Drs Lynn Whitakers and Dr Erin Pritchard as examinators. Zein's thesis was supervised by Dr Inge Ejbye Sørensen, Professor Raymond Boyle and Professor Amy Holdsworth. Well done, Zein!

Soon to be Dr Oweis is part of Centre for Cultural Policy Research and will be the very first PhD student graduating from the Cultural Industries subject area!
