Joan was given a surprise 60th Birthday presentation
On Thursday 15th May, colleagues came together to celebrate a very special milestone – a surprise party for Joan Gavigan’s 60th birthday! With balloons, cake, and plenty of laughter, we gathered to honour Joan's incredible contributions and wish her well on this memorable occasion. Pardeep Jhund gave a touching speech, reflecting on her years of hard work, dedication, and the support she’s given to countless medical students and fellows. He then presented her with gifts and flowers, contributed by many coworkers, not all of whom could attend the party. It was a wonderful opportunity to show Joan how much she means to all of us and the look of surprise and joy on her face was priceless, making it a moment we’ll all remember!
