Update from the Research Management Team...
Happy new year everyone!
2018 is off to a good start with people giving us plenty of notice for applications-thanks for this, and a whopping 20 applications being submitted in January. Fingers crossed for some awards!
Our lovely PC Jill had a baby boy, James Peter Fitzharris, on 23rd January weighing in at 7 pounds 12 ounces. Both mum and baby are doing well. Here's a wee pic of James, looking delighted to be part of the team!
In Jill's absence, we'd like to welcome our new PC who will be looking after Jill's portfolio while she and baby James are enjoying their time together. Gerard Lynch will start officially on the 12th Feb, and will make contact with Jill's PI's over the next few weeks. While he is getting set up, feel free to contact Alex on alexandrea.macpherson@glasgow.ac.uk for all application and research related enquires.
We also have another new team member, Liz MacKinnon, joining us in a RSA position. Liz will primarily be looking after School of Medicine staff and those that have an affiliation with ICS.

A reminder, we're based in Room 140 of the Wolfson Wohl Cancer Research Centre, so if you want to pop in for a chat, or just to match some faces to names, you know where we are.
