Welcome to all of our new staff
Sarah Edwards is a new postdoctoral researcher in Dr Seth Coffelt’s lab at the Beatson Institute CRUK. Sarah completed her PhD in immunology and a postdoc at Trinity College Dublin and has a special interest in T cell biology. Sarah moved to the Beatson in January to study the role of γδ T cells in breast cancer metastasis.

Kayleigh McLeish recently started her position as a Technician based at the WWCRC, she reports to Dr Susie Cooke, PI. Before joining ICS she completed a research placement with the Scottish Police Authority and Scienceand Advice for Scottish Agriculture. The project involved the recovery of human touch DNA from animal carcasses and traps during bird of prey crime investigations. She completed her Masters Degree in Forensic Science from the University of Strathclyde in 2017 and her honours degree was in Forensic Biology. Email: kayleigh.mcleish@glasgow.ac.uk
Selma Rebus joined us in December as a Technician (Biospecimans) working for Dr David Chang
Ana Elodia Canete Sanchez started on 1st February as Research Associate with Dr Karen Keeshan
Caitriona O’Connor will be starting 15th February as a Research Associate with Dr Karen Keeshan
Jodie Hay is a new Research Associate whi started with Dr Alison Michie on 3rd January
