Biography

Tasfia Mazid is a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) in Business Management at the Human Resource Management & Organisational Behaviour Research Cluster at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, UK. Tasfia has been working as a GTA since 2022.

She is a doctoral researcher at the Adam Smith Business School and is currently pursuing her PhD in Paradoxical Leadership. Before that, she completed an MSc in Human Resource Management and Business from Aston University, Birmingham, UK, where she received the Best Academic Achievement Award from Aston Business School.

Tasfia has worked as a Research Assistant for 3 months under the supervision of Dr Aleksandra Bavdaz on the research project Authentic Leadership.

She worked as a Lecturer at North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, for about 3 years. She has 6 years of corporate experience in Human Resources with multinational companies like H&M and Walmart.
