Visiting Your Pet

Visiting Your Pet

We understand this may be the first time your pet has been away from home and being separated from your pet can be an anxious time. It is common to be concerned but whilst your pet is hospitalised with us they will have human company 24 hours a day, be taken for regular walks where able and receive lots of TLC. Our aim is to get your pet back home with you as soon as practical.

When you can visit your pet

If your pet is likely to be hospitalised for a few days we generally do not encourage visiting as it may be disruptive to settling and acclimatising to being in hospital. It can also upset a patient to see their owners arrive and then leave again.

If your pet needs to be hospitalised for longer than 4 or 5 days, or if there is any deterioration in their condition, we are more than happy for you to visit (at the discretion of the clinician managing the case). Please call to check with us that it is suitable for you to visit and to arrange a suitable time.
