Capacity Strengthening

Within the Institute's international activities we have established a strong track-record of developing and supporting funding bids that allow us to integrate training and teaching opportunities for African nationals. This is crucial for stengthening future research-leaders and capacity within African institutions, addressing key research questions from an African perspective. A great example of this is the One Health Initiative that links human, animal and ecosystem health—a concept led by Africa, with global benefits.
