This is part of a joint research project with CEH in Edinburgh. This project is multidisciplinary, addressing how environmental change influences interactions between predators and prey, and their physiologies. It involves population level studies of the phenologies of breeding seabirds and their prey, using CEH's long term data on seabirds on the Isle of May. It also involves detailed studies of the relationship between environmental conditions, physiological state and breeding performance, focussing on the kittiwake Rissa tridactyla
