Russell Smith is undertaking research in the College of Arts. Russell is a published fiction author and more recently a historian, who has recently undertaken an MA in History at Leicester University.

Formerly a Heritage Ambassador for the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, Russell has also been a Research Volunteer with the Royal Air Force Museum for three years, with a focus on exploring the RAF’s wartime and post-war race relations, which he continues to research for his PhD.
