Description

Prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for well qualified applicants to the International Master in Global Markets, Local Creativities. The University of Glasgow is the leading partner in the consortium of universities that have developed this multiple Masters programme. Other degree awarding partners include Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) and Georg-August Universität Göttingen (Germany). 

Eligibility

Applicants must hold an offer of a place for the programme (unconditional or conditional offer).

GLOCAL Erasmus Mundus scholarships can be offered to students from any region of the world; however, no more than three with the same nationality will be awarded in the same intake under the same category. The scholarships’ terms depend on the student’s nationality and residence.

Value

The GLOCAL Erasmus Mundus scholarship includes:

  • a contribution to the student participation costs (tuition fees, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory costs related to the students’ participation in the EMJMD study programme)
  • a contribution to student travel and installation costs
  • a monthly subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the study programme

How to apply

  • Secure an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on the programme.
  • Submit the appropriate scholarship application form (available on the consortium website) with their online programme application.

Deadline: 11 January 2019

Assessment: The selection committee assesses each application according to the following criteria:

  • Academic merit (e.g. relevance and level of academic qualifications) - 30%
  • Supporting personal statement - 40%
  • Quality of (academic) references - 10%
  • Other (e.g. relevant research/professional experiences/interests) - 20%

Following the closing date, the consortium selection committee will select candidates, who will be notified of outcome of their application by Wednesday 3 April 2019.
