As part of Scottish Government investment in planning, the University of Glasgow is excited to introduce the Future Planners Bursary to support cost of living expenses of five students commencing their studies in September 2026 on one of the eligible programmes.
The scholarship aims to attract diverse talent from a variety of planning-related disciplines and underrepresented backgrounds to study a fully accredited Planning Masters in Scotland and increase the number of qualified planners.
Applications are particularly welcomed from applicants who meet any of our widening participation criteria.
In order to be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- Hold an offer of study at the full or part-time MSc City Planning & Real Estate Development or MSc City Planning programme starting in September 2026/2027
- Have Home/ RUK fee status
Please note, this scholarship cannot be combined with the any other University of Glasgow Scholarship, including the GRID Planners and Wirld Changer Planning Award.
