Phil Prizeman-Green
Phil is a plant scientist currently working at Intelligent Growth Solutions (IGS), a Scottish vertical farming company, where he researches and develops lighting-focussed strategies to optimise crop growth. He previously obtained a PhD in plant photobiology from the University of Edinburgh while researching plant shade-avoidance responses and their ecological relevance. Phil joined the SCAF ECN in 2025 to strengthen ties between academia and industry, and to meet more like-minded people with a passion for our food systems.
