David McBey
David works on sustainable diets, food systems, and the social and behavioural factors that shape food choice. His work includes research on public attitudes, behaviour change, food environments, and policy, alongside interdisciplinary innovation projects focused on developing practical tools and technologies to support more sustainable food and agricultural systems.
Through his involvement in the Early Career Network and SCAF, he has valued meeting people from different backgrounds, and is keen to continue building new connections and collaborations in exciting areas of work.
SCAF has been a really valuable space for connecting with people across disciplines and sectors who are working on food-related issues from different perspectives. I have particularly valued the opportunity to build relationships, share ideas, and stay connected to work beyond my own immediate area.
