Limited access to affordable, nutritious food contributes to dietary and health inequalities. The Community Co-Created Market research programme aims to improve access to nutritious foods in socioeconomically deprived communities in Glasgow though co-created food market stalls.

In this webinar Ada Garcia and Lydia Stewart will introduce the aims and overarching objectives of their research programme and the design-based, participatory arts methodology they used to engage communities in generating rich, intersectional insights into the complexities of their local food systems.

This method is a low-barrier engagement tool that invites community members to share food-related stories through visual narrative mapping around a table, enabling the collection of tangible, nuanced qualitative data grounded in lived experience.
