Translating Quantum Food Futures Workshop 2
The second workshop in a three-part series looking at how quantum technologies might shape the future of food takes place on 23rd June at the University of Stirling. The workshop is part of the Translating Quantum Food Futures (TQ-FOODS) project, which is supported by Quantum ARC and SCAF.
Following on from the first workshop in Edinburgh, which you can read about in our guest blog written by Dr Saihong Li, the second event will develop themes and questions that emerged from previous discussions.
Date and time:
Tuesday 23rd June 2026, Registration, coffee, and breakfast from 9.30am, the event starts at 10:00. Lunch is provided and the event is free to attend.
Location: Room D1, Pathfoot Building, University of Stirling, FK9 4LA
Who should attend?
We warmly welcome participants from quantum science, food and nutrition research, aquaculture, policy, the humanities, social sciences, and creative practice. This includes researchers, practitioners, artists, designers, and others interested in responsible innovation, public understanding, and cross-disciplinary approaches to food systems. We are particularly keen to engage early career researchers.
What to expect?
The event will include short talks, structured group discussion, and collaborative activities designed to deepen interdisciplinary exchange and identify future areas for research, communication, and partnership. Participants will also have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the next stage of the TQ-FOODS project.
