About this event
The University of Glasgow’s Centre for Public Policy invites you to join us for a panel event to explore Scotland’s progress towards public service reform.
There's too much month left at the end of money, is a sentiment long felt by families across the country. Now it's one faced by Governments across the UK as they grapple with rising levels of debt alongside rising demand for key public services. Meanwhile inequality remains stubbornly high and levels of deep poverty are worsening. How do you tackle the cost of living crisis with so little money to spend?
Panellists:
Chair: Professor Kezia Dugdale, Associate Director of the UofG Centre for Public Policy
- Professor Angela O'Hagan, Chair of the Scottish Human Rights Commission
- Dr Claire MacRae, Senior Lecturer in Public Policy at the UofG Centre for Public Policy
- Alex Massie, journalist and broadcaster
