Thalia Rodriguez is a Research Software Engineer at the University of Glasgow, specialising in the development of resea
rch software, data-driven solutions, and technical collaboration across academic and industry projects.
Previously, she worked as a Research Fellow in mathematical modelling, data fusion, and machine learning at the UK Dementia Research Institute / University of Surrey, where she developed multimodal data pipelines, machine learning models, analytics platforms, and reproducible MLOps workflows to support healthcare research and clinical decision-making.
She holds a PhD in Physics and is passionate about applying software and AI to solve complex research challenges.
