The SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein Mutation Explorer is an interactive web application which uses illustrations, animations, and 3D content to explain what mutations in SARS-CoV-2 could mean for us and how they can create Variants of Concern.

The SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein Mutation Explorer was developed by Sarah Iannucci, an MSc student in Medical Visualisation & Human Anatomy at The University of Glasgow and The Glasgow School of Art. It was developed with assistance from the COVID-19 Genomics UK Consortium (COG-UK) team and MRC-University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research team.
