Community Food Co-created Markets

We are pleased to announce the launch of our weekly fruit and vegetable market stall in Govan on the 18th of July 2026. The Govan Fruiters is a not-for-profit market stall in Govan that will be run by our local partner Dig In Community Greengrocers as part of a research study led by the University of Glasgow. The research in progress aims to explore whether market stalls like this can help people eat more healthy foods. The Govan Fruiters will price produce with a low margin in order to cover costs, with weekly special offers on seasonal fruit and veg.
