Engaging with Local Communities

We will be undertaking a qualitative study to map local food systems in areas of Glasgow through engaging with the perspectives of people who live in Wester Common, Govan and Cranhill. We have undertaken a mix of autoethnographic and interview/focus group engagements to explore the views and experiences of people accessing food in their local area. This will help us understand the dynamics of food access, choice, culture and literacy to explore potential barriers to healthy eating.
