Creative Arts Engagement

The creative arts methodology is grounded in the use of narrative mapping as a tool for understanding complex social systems. For this project we are interested in understanding the food system. This methodology is being used to understand community needs, food experiences and any potential barriers to food access. Our learnings from this will help the project understand how our market intervention may bring value and provide support to communities in Glasgow. Our methodology uses materials such as modelling clay and drawing to prompt people with various abilities, ages and skills to communicate their more inner thoughts and feelings about their relationship to food and well being.
