Abstract
This toolkit is a flexible reflective resource designed to support educators, teacher educators, leaders, and other educational stakeholders in critically considering the use of digital and AItechnologies in learning and teaching. It can be used individually or collaboratively to supportprofessional learning, discussion, planning, decision-making, and evaluation, all of whichcontribute to a structured approach for taking an enquiring stance towards practice andundertaking a professional enquiry project. The toolkit does not offer prescribed answers or serve as a compliance framework. It encourages thoughtful dialogue, critical reflection, and informed professional judgement. It isunderpinned by the principle that educational purposes should drive technology use, withconsideration given to pedagogy, inclusion, equity, ethics, accessibility, and learner wellbeing. As digital and AI technologies continue to evolve, this toolkit should be viewed as a living resourcethat can be revisited, adapted, and developed over time. Users are encouraged to engage critically with the reflective prompts and apply them within their own contexts, recognising that effective and responsible technology use requires ongoing reflection, adaptation, and evaluation.
