Abstract
Research-Practice Partnerships (RPPs) are one type of cross-institutional partnership that supports the bridging of theory, research, policy, and practice. In CenTCS, we foster, develop, and research different types of educational partnerships that support the school experiences of all young people. In 2025-2026, we participated in an international workshop hosted by CenTCS affiliate the National Network of Education Research Practice Partnerships (NNERPP—a program of the Kinder Institute for Urban Research at Rice University) at the Rice Global Paris Center. These researchers continue to collaborate on scholarly activities and knowledge exchange, which included a double symposium session at the European Conference on Educational Research in August, 2026. In 2026-2027, CenTCS will support the deepening and broadening of this network of international researchers working in and on RPPs.
International collaborators who participated in the inaugural meeting in Paris, 2025 included: Brianna L. Kennedy (CenTCS), Paula Arce-Trigatti, National Network of Educational Research Practice Partnerships (NNERP), Charlotte Capocci (France Broker), Chris Chapman (University of Glasgow), Timo Ehmke (Leuphana University of Lüneburg), Caitlin Farrell (Center for Reimagining Education Research, University of Colorado, Boulder), Sandra Fischer-Schöneborn (Leuphana University of Lüneburg), Henning Fjørtoft (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), Erin Henrick (Vanderbilt University), Maria Jarl (University of Gothenburg), Tiina Korhonen (University of Helsinki), Denis Pasco (Marie and Louis Pasteur University), Nathalie Popa (Karlstad University), Gareth Robinson (Queen’s University, Belfast), Jean Ryoo (University of California, Los Angeles), Hervé Sabourin (University of Poitiers), Laura Salo (University of Helsinki), Raphaela Schlicht-Schmälzle (Leipniz Institute for Research and Information in Education), Simon Sjölund (Mälardalen University), Kim Wright (NNERPP), Enikö Zala-Mezö (Zurich University of Teacher Education).
