The project aims to promote the benefits of Team-Based Learning (TBL) in CS.
The purpose of the event is to introduce attendees to Team-Based Learning (TBL) by using some TBL tasks and sharing my experience of using Team-Based Learning in a six-weeks Bootcamp style multi-subject course. TBL is a student-centred instructional approach with the following advantages over normal teacher-centred approach (Lecture): high level of engagement, better academic performance for weaker students, enhances programming skills and confidence in the ability to program [1,2].
