The Biblical Interpretation Research Cluster carries out research on the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament and New Testament in conversation with other ancient Jewish and Christian traditions. The Cluster works to understand both the origins of these traditions and the way have they have understand from antiquity through to today. We are interdisciplinary, working with partners from classics to psychology, and use multiple methods, including theological reading, historical analysis, politics, feminist and queer criticism, reception history, material philology, and exegesis.
