The World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC) https://www.world-gifted.org/ is a worldwide non-profit organisation that provides advocacy and support for gifted children. The WCGTC is a diverse organisation networking the globe with an active membership of educators, scholars, researchers, parents, and others interested in the development and education of gifted and talented children of all ages.  Dr Niamh Stack and Dr Margaret Sutherland are both members of the E+WCGTC and Margaret serves on the Executive Committee. 

In August 2015 Niamh, Margaret and 3 of their PhD students attended the WCGTC conference in Odense, Denmark.  Margaret delivered a keynote address that considered how researchers and teachers could work more closely together to develop  appropriate learning opportunities for highly able learners.  You can listen to her talk here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnzyZlbpLZg
