It is my hope that my visits to Glasgow within the IMRCEES Visiting Scholar Programme were mutually beneficial. I taught short courses on Georgia’s Political Modernizations that gave a chance to students of the program to learn about very interesting transformation processes in this country – but also helped me to develop my vision of them that I hope to summarize in a book format. Feedback from colleagues in Glasgow as well as from students was tremendous help. And, last but not least, I benefited a lot from resources of the University library.
