Research title: Enhancing Building Footprint Extraction Accuracy Using Single-Image Super-Resolution Building Datasets

Research summary

My research mainly focuses on using deep learning methods for multi-class land cover dection and super-resolution. My current research focus is developing the task-oriented super-resolution networks than can boost the performance on building or other multi-class land cover detection. By improving the image quality, we assist the deep learning networks with quite high performance in multi-land cover detection, including impervious surface, vehicles, trees, low-vegetation and hedeges.

All topics of my research are related to the deep learning applications for assisting urban management, environmental monitoring, emergency response, and other land use management issues. By enhancing the performances with the deep learning-based methods, the increased detection accuracy can help the governments and the companies to obtain accurate results.
