Research title: De-desexualisation of the Reanimated Gothic Queer
I am interested in monsters as a cultural text with a particular interest in ecofeminism and gender studies. My research deals with the problem in representation of reanimated Gothic monsters, particularly on the sexualisation and de-sexualisation of these figures from original texts to film adaptations through a psychoanalytic lens.
