Research Summary

Rebecca is an historian of Victorian Scotland with a particular interest in the control, expression, and representation of sexuality. Her interdisciplinary PhD research seeks to understand how abortion was regulated and configured in 1850s Scotland through an interrogation of legal, medical, and press narratives.
