Research title: Investigating the role of feral pigs in the transmission and control of African Swine Fever in Scotland

Research summary

I am a postgraduate researcher within the School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine. My research aims to improve the available population data (such as abundance, distribution and demographics) on feral pigs living in Scotland. My research also aims to model African Swine Fever within the population to aid in preparedness and future management strategies.

I am broadly interested in infectious disease ecology, wildlife epidemiology and population ecology.
