Postgraduate research students

My research explores the cinema as a conduit for magickal practice. I will create a framework via an occult lens to consider film and filmmaking, and then construct an esotericism and syntax for cinema as an occult or magick ritual in itself. 

I have created a website called Cinematic Grimoire, an online archive of magician and occultist contributions to cinema. 

My research interests include the occult, occulture, ritual magic, grimoiric traditions, and witchcraft, as well as their depiction on screen. I am also interested in high strangeness, paranormal investigation, and their presentation on television.
