Research title: Thriving under challenges – establishing individual and situational influences on eustress
Research Summary
My research with SOCIAL AI CDT focuses on developing an electronic health application for stress management. Using personalised and situational measures for stress appraisal, my aim is to systematically conceptualise cognitions of stress and to investigate how we can employ novel technologies to transform negative stress (distress) into positive stress (eustress). My research interests include health psychology, behaviour change design, socially intelligent artificial agents, and behavioural economics.
