PhD Research - Theology through Creative Practice
Water and Oil: Sacraments of (Un)Belonging
The aim of this research is to explore podcasting as a creative modality for autoethnographic theological enquiry. Specifically, I aim to create a series of podcast audio essays which will explore marginality, sacramentality and liminality in relation to faith, belief and belonging. This exploration will be specifically anchored in landscape and place. Involving spoken word, music and soundscape recordings.
Podcasting and Ethics
As podcasting develops as a creative mode of research enquiry, I have a particular interest in the ethical applications of the medium in theology and in the humanities more broadly.
