Research title: A shape-shifting silent assassin – how does genome instability underpin Trypanosoma cruzi drug resistance and survival in vector and host?
Research Summary
I am a postgraduate researcher within the School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine. My research aims to explore the mechanisms that underpin genome instability in Trypanosoma cruzi, the causative agent of Chagas disease. I am broadly interested in host-parasite interactions, parasite genomics and molecular mechanisms of drug resistance.
