Research title: Mass Sensing with Damped Cantilever Beams
Research Summary
My current research topic is the dynamic analysis of inertially amplified systems. I am currently investigating how the proposed inclusion of inertial amplifiers to vibration control systems influences the dynamic behaviour, in particular the eigenvalue and eigenvector response, of these systems and the consequential knock-on effects on the vibration control mechanism.
Topics of interest are:
- Inertial Amplifiers
- Vibration Control
- Mass Sensing
