The Centre for Public Policy for Regions (CPPR) are to present their key findings on the new Government Economic Strategy at a seminar next week (27 November).

The new Government Economic Strategy to replace Smart Successful Scotland and Framework for Economic Development Strategy (FEDS) was published last week and followed the next day by the statement from John Swinney setting out Scotland’s spending plans.

CPPR will set out its final analysis of the Scottish Budget and also discuss how it links with the Economic Strategy. The discussion and debate will be conducted under Chatham House rules.

This follows on from CPPR briefings about the Budget, which are available at: http://www.cppr.ac.uk/centres/cppr/newsandevents/.

The seminar will held from 2.30 - 4pm on Tuesday 27 November in Ivy Lodge, 63 Gibson Street, Glasgow.

Places for this seminar should be booked in advance by emailing to: cppr@gla.ac.uk.
