Do real men eat yoghurt?

Healthy male volunteers are needed to take part in a research study by the Division of Developmental Medicine

Researchers at the Division of Developmental Medicine are investigating the effect of novel carbohydrates on blood lipid levels in relation to the development of heart disease. Our main aim is to determine if a daily intake of these carbohydrates can reduce the production of fat in our bodies and therefore help to decrease the risk of heart disease.

Male volunteers are required who are:

  • Non-smokers
  • Over 35 year old
  • Willing to give blood samples
  • Willing to take notes of what they eat and do
  • And willing to eat a small serving of low-fat natural yoghurt every day for several weeks
If you are interested in taking part in this study or just want more information, please email Alexander Laurentin (alaurentin@yahoo.co.uk) with your name, age, approximate height and weight, contact details and any questions you may have. Alternatively, you can phone Dr Malkova on (0141) 201-0648.

As a token of our gratitude for taking part in this study, we will be happy to provide you with information on your blood fat levels and your dietary habits.
